My name is Flip Frisch and I design beautiful things that work.
The arts were my first love. I have been a visual artist, a singer-songwriter and a songleader for many years. Along the way I have also been a student of the human condition - I am interested in people and behavior.
I hold a Master’s degree in Social Psychology and I have been a lifelong proponent of summer camp, teaching art, music and outdoor education. I have built websites for friends, designed graphics for an elementary school art show, and parented a remarkable child. I've gained a wealth of experience working as a legal assistant, an office manager, and a milker of cows on kibbutz. I'm an active listener, a trusted friend, and a person of integrity.
User experience design provides me an opportunity to combine my many interests and use visual design and storytelling to solve everyday problems and help real people. Data and empathy inform my design; my designs are created with the user in mind.
I believe my purpose is to make beautiful things that work.
